Welcome to Aetherdrift! A very dangerous, action-packed racing adventure spanning three magical worlds: Avishkar, the Midnight City (formerly Kaladesh), Amonkhet, the Desert Reborn, and Muraganda, the Primordial World!

The protagonist of this race is Chandra Nalaar, who has her sights set on the grand prize of Aetherdrift: The Aetherspark! With it, Nissa will get her Spark back, for which Chandra would even give her life. However, the competition is fierce and unfair, with rules being ignored, so she will have to give it her all to reach the finish line.

What are Play Boosters?
Play Boosters are the best of what draft and set boosters have to offer, combined into one perfect product, suitable for both players of limited Magic, such as booster draft and sealed deck, and avid collectors who enjoy opening booster packs.

Previously, you had the choice between draft, set, or collector boosters for collecting your new cards. Collector boosters remain unchanged and are still the go-to booster for special foils, unique borders, and exclusives. Draft and set boosters have been replaced by Play Boosters. Play Boosters have been specially developed with booster draft and sealed deck in mind, but ripping boosters also remains exciting until the last card thanks to the increased chance of showcase cards and rares or mythic rares!

Play Booster Box Composition
A booster box contains 30 Play Boosters. A Play Booster contains 14 Magic: The Gathering cards from Aetherdrift. The composition of a Play Booster is as follows:

- 1 to 4 rares or mythic rares.
- 3 to 5 commons.
- 6 to 9 uncommons.
- 1 land card.
- Always one foil card.
- 1 token card.

In a Play Booster, you will always get at least one rare and always one foil card. Furthermore, in one out of seven boosters, you will find a mythic rare instead of a rare! In some boosters, the common is replaced by a rare Special Guest card featuring beautiful borderless artwork. Additionally, Play Boosters contain two wildcard slots, one foil and one non-foil. Cards in the wildcard slot can be of any rarity, from common to mythic rare.

Aetherdrift Special Guests
Special Guests are unique reprints of powerful cards with brand-new borderless art. In every booster, you have a chance to find a Special Guest card. These reprints are powerful, sought-after cards, or the cards thematically fit perfectly with the set they are in.

First Place Box Topper
Every Play Booster box contains a First Place Box Topper. This is a small booster consisting of two special cards, both featuring the shimmering First-Place foil layer. The first card in this box topper is always a basic land with 10 different artworks, and the second card is one of 127 different First-Place foil cards!
